Is it possible to be a member if I have insurance?

Yes, even if you have insurance, you can become a member at Thriving Family Wellness clinic. While we don't directly bill your insurance, our Direct Primary Care (DPC) model serves as the perfect complement to any high deductible, low premium plan that covers catastrophic events. Our DPC membership covers any day-to-day health care needs that can be managed in the office, over the phone, via text or email, as and when appropriate. Cost-sharing co-op plans also work in harmony with the DPC model. We aim to be your trusted resource for optimal healthcare for you and your family, always prioritizing the healthcare cost-to-value ratio.

Does my membership fee cover specialty care, and is direct primary care a form of insurance?

It's important to understand that the goal of DPC is to cover all primary care needs of individuals and families at a reasonable cost, and it does not cover specialty care. Furthermore, DPC is not a form of insurance. Its purpose is to provide direct and transparent primary care to the patient, bypassing insurance companies and other intermediaries. All pricing is clear, concise, and always discussed with the patient in advance.

Can I receive remote healthcare?

At Thriving Family Wellness clinic, we understand that sometimes it's more convenient to receive care over the phone. When appropriate, we can manage simple problems remotely, but if a visit to the clinic is needed, we will inform you. Your membership gives you the flexibility to manage your care in the most suitable way for you.
